Solmucol is a drug suitable for all kinds of respiratory diseases involving increased mucus production that is coughed up insufficiently, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, sinusitis, laryngitis (larynx inflammation), trachitis and influenza. It is also suitable as a complementary treatment of chronic diseases, such as cystic fibrosis.
Solmucol contains N-Acetylcysteine as an active substance dissolving mucus in the airways and facilitates expectoration.
Cough is a common symptom of colds and influenza viruses. There are two types of cough – dry cough, which does not form mucus, and wet or productive cough. If you suffer from productive cough with mucus formation, take effective mucolytics. Mucolytics are medicines that directly affect the mucus structure, decreasing its density, thereby allowing it to expectorate.
Solmucol is a verified, effective and safe mucolytic medicine. Solmucol contains N-Acetylcysteine as an active substance dissolving mucus in the airways. As a result, the mucus is diluted and easier to remove by expectoration or blowing the nose.

Syrups are popular among pediatric patients. There are two packages available (90ml and 180ml), and two flavours, raspberry and strawberry or plum-tropical, with a practical measuring cup included. Solmucol syrup is also suitable for small children from birth.
Lozenges with a pleasant orange flavour just dissolve in the mouth. Thanks to the practical pack, you can take them wherever and whenever you need to.
