Yabro contains 0.3% hyaluronic acid in isotonic solution for inhalation treatment. It is transformed into an aerosol by a compressor inhaler in 15 to 40 minutes. A compressor inhaler is not included in the packaging and can be bought in a pharmacy.
Hyaluronic acid is the body's own substance and is a natural part of the tissues of the respiratory system. It has several natural functions in the organism and contributes to maintaining organism homeostasis. Its therapeutic use is not associated with the risk of adverse effects, it does not react with other concurrent treatment of the disease and it can be used by both children and adults.
After inhalation administration, hyaluronic acid rapidly penetrates through the tissues of the respiratory system and becomes part of the intercellular mass. Its effect increases the natural immunity of mucous membranes, hydrates tissues, increases their ability to regenerate and, in particular, contributes to alleviating bronchoconstriction in asthmatics. In chronic patients, it also contributes to the protection of lung tissue by protecting elastic fibres from destruction.
Hyaluronic acid captures free oxygen radicals produced during chronic (and allergic) inflammation, which can subsequently prolong it. Hyaluronic acid is a natural physiological antioxidant.
Hyaluronic acid binds to RHAMM receptors, through which it stimulates mucociliary transport and contributes to faster clearing of the airways of mucus, dirt and allergens.
Yabro is a medical device not subject to medical prescription. Patients need a compressor inhaler to apply it. It is really easy to use, the ampoule is poured into the dispenser bottle and the patient then inhales until the entire solution turns into an aerosol.
